- 401 Dixie Kia is happy to support Easter Seals Ontario. Now until August 20th, 2011, we will be accepting donations towards the purchase of a new wheelchair for a physically challenged child. Donations can be made in our Showroom at 5505 Ambler Dr., Mississauga.
- On Saturday, August 20th, from 11:30 until 3:30, we will have a barbeque, at our dealership. All of the proceeds will be donated to Easter Seals.
- 401 Dixie Kia will also donate $50 from every vehicle sold on Saturday, August 20th.
About Easter Seals:
There are over 20,000 children, youth and young adults in Ontario with a physical disability.
Some children were born with disabilities such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida, some have spinal cord or brain injuries resulting from childhood accidents, others sustained brain damage through infections like encephalitis and meningitis. Regardless of the cause, these children share a common desire for independence, acceptance and achievement.
Easter Seals Ontario began in 1922 as a vision to create a better life for children and youth with physical disabilities. While the specific programs and services may have changed over the decades, Easter Seals’ dedication to helping kids succeed is unwavering
